Handley Music Studio

Our students range from 10 years of age to adult. We teach beginner to advanced levels of lessons. Mr. Handley teaches string and wind instruments. Mrs. Handley teaches string instruments (violin, viola, cello). 

Most of our lessons can be taught at your child's school during their orchestra class. The length of the lesson is, basically, half of the scheduled orchestra class. Doing this allows us to have 2 lesson slots per class period. Currently we teach lessons at Glenn Middle School, Central Freshman Center, and Central High School.  If lessons at school is not possible, then we teach at our home after school hours. 

The best part of this situation is that parents do not have to take students to their lessons and them pick them up afterwards. We come to you. 

Private lessons will be one half of the orchestra class period and will take place once per week. Private lessons are $20 per lesson and partner lessons are $10 (group lesson with a maximum of 3 students).  The focus of private lessons is one-on-one learning for the student while partner lessons involve less one-on-one attention and can be affected by the other students in the group.

A commitment by the student, that is supported by the parent , to regular at home practice with a focus on the private lesson material is very important and vital to the success of the private lessons.

We send invoices for the lessons at the end of each month. Payments options include cash, check, or PayPal.
